Yunmeng Vacation Village
Yunmeng Vacation Village
(map) is perched on a cliff edge
in China's Henan Province, overlooking the plain of the Huang He (Yellow River).
It lies in a protected AAAA-grade scenic region of China
near the town of Qixian
(map), part of Hebi City
(map),
a couple of hours by car from the modern provincial capital of Zhengzhou
(map).
The following panorama of Yunmeng Vacation Village at sunrise
spans 360 degrees and is scrollable.
The Vacation Village's red-colored entrance hall looks past several residence units
and a meeting hall toward the neighboring Taoism Research Institute,
next seen at sunset.
Taoism Research Institute
The Taoism Research Institute
(map) at Yunmeng includes a gate
towering over the plain far below and a temple in an octagonal courtyard.
(The third panorama spans 360 degrees.)
Yunmeng Nature Park
Yunmeng offers great hiking, horseriding and food around its nearby Mongolian Huts
(map) resort, shown next in winter
(the second view spans 360 degrees).
Also within walking distance is the 2000-year-old
"First Ancient Chinese Military School"
(map),
tucked away in its shadowy and wintry valley (the panorama spans 360 degrees).
Another destination is Ling Shan Temple
(map),
spread around a valley, some buildings being reached by arduous hikes.
An overview is shown first, followed by a detailed scrollable view.
Qixian
The town of Qixian
(map), the nearest to Yunmeng, presents curious and happy faces.
