Hong Kong's Wanchai District
The next picture was taken from water level. It shows the Central Plaza Tower (374m,
map),
dominating over the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre
with its characteristic gull-wing roof.
Hong Kong's Central District
The next view, taken from
about here,
includes, from left, the Central Plaza Tower (374m), 2IFC (416m),
the twin red-lined towers of the Shun Tak Center (145m), partly hiding The Center (346m).
Next are three views of 2IFC (416m,
map).
The following panorama was taken from an observation tower in Hong Kong Park
(map).
It shows, from left, St. John's Building (rounded windows), Murray Building (on arches),
joined Citibank Plaza and ICBC Tower (near-black windows, 206m), Bank of China (367m),
complex-shaped twin Lippo Towers (186m), Queensway Government Offices (rectangular, 190m),
and Island Shangri-La Hotel (curved, 213m).
The same panorama (extended from about 200 to 360 degrees) is presented in a circular view.
The next three pictures offer different perspectives of the Bank of China (367m,
map).
The following picture shows the joined Citibank Plaza and ICBC Tower (206m,
map).
Next is another view of the Bank of China (367m) with, to its right, the
Island Shangri-La Hotel (213m) and Conrad Hotel (199m), both with curved facades,
shot from
here.
The Conrad Hotel (left, 199m) and Island Shangri-La Hotel (middle, 213m)
are shown again below, together with the Three Pacific Place Building (183m), as seen from
here.
Next are two views of the twin Lippo Towers (the taller one reaching 186m,
map).
Kowloon
The tallest building of Hong Kong stands in Kowloon.
The International Commerce Center (ICC, 484m,
map),
when completed in 2010, should be the 4th tallest in the world.
It is flanked by the Harbour Side apartment building (255m).
In these two views ICC has reached its full height.
